The development of stone waste material reinforcement technology

The structure of stone waste material is loose and porous, and the cracks are wide and deep. During the transportation of waste materials, especially in the process of sawing and cutting the wool board, it is easy to break into waste stones, which causes huge waste of natural resources and causes great economic losses to stone enterprises. With the continuous exploitation of natural marble resources, its resources are decreasing year by year. How to strengthen the stone waste material and ensure the smooth sawing and avoid the waste of resources has become a difficult problem that the stone mining and processing enterprises need to solve.

For a long time, the industry has explored and practiced many methods to strengthen the waste material to ensure the sawcut rate. The author makes a sorting here for reference for relevant technical colleagues.

1. crack injection reinforcement

For waste materials with large cracks and obvious holes, most manufacturers use syringes or grease guns to inject glue into them, and then play a certain role of bonding and strengthening after curing. Although the process is simple, it has the disadvantages of low efficiency and easy to exude and waste glue. More importantly, the penetration depth of common glue to cracks is limited, and the effect of internal reinforcement of waste material is not satisfactory. The phenomenon of saw collapse occurs when sawing to the waste material center. At the same time, the reinforcement method can not help the narrow cracks or the waste materials of granular type (such as Altman).

2. reinforcement of external package

External wrapping is a common reinforcement method in stone enterprises. Generally, it is used to apply a layer of unsaturated polyester resin (commonly known as resin adhesive) or epoxy resin (commonly known as AB adhesive) adhesive around the waste material which has been washed and dried, and then the glass fiber mesh cloth is attached to it, and finally a layer of adhesive is applied on the surface. The saw can be performed after it is completely cured. Here is a comparison of the two adhesives:

It can be seen from the above table that unsaturated polyester resin adhesive is currently dominant in the waste material packaging market due to its low cost and flexible construction method. However, it has low strength and brittle properties. Although there are modified nano adhesives with nano fillers added to the formula to improve the strength, it has improved the strength, but because it still contains a large number of styrene as diluent, it has a large odor and is unfavorable It has great impact on environment for the health of construction personnel. In recent years, there is a trend of being replaced by epoxy resin. In foreign countries such as Turkey, Egypt and other stone producing countries, unsaturated polyester resin has withdrawn from the packaging rubber market.

By strengthening the surrounding package, the corner missing during transportation, hoisting and sawing can be basically prevented, and the integrity of waste material is guaranteed. However, the reinforcement effect of waste material with developed internal cracks is very small. During the sawing process, due to the strong back and forth vibration of saw blade, the original loose and cracked internal stones will fall, and the saw will still collapse, which seriously affects the normal production.

3. vacuum impregnation reinforcement

According to colleagues in the industry, domestic enterprises have introduced a set of Italy's latest vacuum impregnation and reinforcement waste material production line. Patent wo2007054995 applied by Roberto Pucci, Italy A1 reported the process in detail: first, the waste material to be reinforced was cleaned and dried, and then the waste material was coated and sealed by reinforced glass fiber and vacuum bag film. The waste material was sent into the sealed tank as a whole, then the air inside the vacuum bag film was extracted, and glue was injected into the bag. After the glue was injected, compressed air was added to the tank, and positive pressure was added to the inner part of the vacuum bag, but it was always kept The pressure in the tank is greater than that of the vacuum bag membrane, which makes the glue penetrate into the cracks in the waste material thoroughly. Meanwhile, the heating and curing of closed tank can accelerate curing, so as to improve the reinforcement effect of waste material from inside to outside. However, the process operation needs the assistance of large-scale special equipment, the process is complex and the efficiency is low, the glue requirements are high, and the cost is difficult to control (the cost of strengthening a waste material is estimated to be about 10000 yuan). Only a few kinds of waste materials are applicable, so it has not been widely popularized.

4. high pressure grouting and reinforcement

In recent years, many enterprises have done a lot of work in the field of waste material reinforcement. Among them, Hunan keshengxin Material Co., Ltd. has been constantly exploring and innovating, breaking the rules, and has made a lot of exploration and Research on the reinforcement of waste materials, and made breakthrough progress. The following focuses on the two latest methods of waste material reinforcement developed and patented by the company: high pressure grouting and vacuum grouting reinforcement technology. It is reported that the technology has been used by many stone enterprises at home and abroad, and has won high praise from the stone industry.

High pressure grouting is a process that special glue is injected into waste material by supercharging equipment, and it will strengthen waste material after it is solidified. The process can seal the waste material cracks, select the appropriate glue injection point, and use special equipment up to 30kg pressure to ensure the whole filling process can be controlled and the crack filling rate is high, so as to ensure the smooth sawing of waste materials.

High pressure grouting is suitable for solving the problem of waste material damage caused by general permeability cracks. The technology has the characteristics of machine automation, constant pressure and high pressure grouting, low construction labor intensity, low cost and high efficiency.

5 vacuum filling

The vacuum filling developed by Hunan Kesheng New Material Co., Ltd. is different from the foreign vacuum impregnation process, and it does not need the auxiliary equipment such as large tank body. The process is to cover the waste material with special sealing materials, then use vacuum equipment to extract the air inside the bag, so that the pressure in the bag includes the pressure at the crack of waste material to close to vacuum state, then inhale special low viscosity and high permeability glue into the waste material, and then solidify it. It is an integrated process to reinforce the waste material from the inside and the outer package.

Compared with the high pressure grouting, the vacuum grouting can solve the problem of the damage of various waste materials (such as Altman, Magnolia, lightning, eudian, sofitekin, etc.) which are serious in permeability or impermeability, mesh and granular cracks, which can not be sawn. The technology has strong generality. It can realize the integration of waste material and external solid. Because the glue solidifies in vacuum bag, there is no smell in the construction site, which reduces VOC emission. The most important is the excellent reinforcement effect, which greatly improves the sawing rate.
